Phones 4u announces pricing for Galaxy S III Mini
15 Oct 2012
Carphone Warehouse also taking orders ahead of 2 November launch
We had the launch, so now you know just what the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini offers. If it's the kind of thing you need in your life, the high street stores are now taking pre-orders.
As we said last week, this is (as you might have guessed) a miniature version of the flagship Galaxy S III Mini, complete with a four-inch Super AMOLED screen, a dual-core 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera and 8GB or 16GB of storage. It also runs Android Jelly Bean and uses similar Samsung software to what's seen on the S III, including gesture control shortcuts on the user interface.
Less phone and for less money too. If you go to Phones 4u, you'll be looking at contracts from £25 per month on networks including Vodafone, Orange and O2. Also, if you are quick, there's a free Samsung Pebble MP3 player for the first 350 people who pre-order. Check you are in that group first though, if it's a deal breaker.
It's not an exclusive to that store, with Carphone Warehouse also opening pre-orders from this weekend. No price competition sadly, with that £25 price still being the entry level monthly cost. On the plus side, if you do order, there isn't long to wait for your phone, with availability confirmed for 2 November.
