HTC One X 5 could be about to launch

Super-sized Android smartphone with five-inch screen
You might want to take this rumour with a fairly heavy pinch of salt, but there's a chance that we'll see the HTC One X 5 launching in the near future.
If genuine, it looks like HTC's answer to the Samsung Galaxy Note II, with the big selling point here (quite literally) being the five-inch screen, which is possibly 1080p for all your HD needs. In fact, that's about all we know so far, apart from a previous benchmark test that pointed to a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip.
The picture above was originally thought to be a leaked press shot but is in fact a concept image based on what's been heard on the mobile grapevine. We might not have long to wait for a press shot though. HTC is hosting a launch event tomorrow (19 September), which was initially thought to be a Windows 8 showcase.
However, with leaks of other devices floating around, including the HTC One X+, the event might yet be an Android event. Time will tell. In fact, we'll know for sure in a matter of hours.
