Apple iPhone 5 free from £45 per month
14 Sep 2012
Carphone Warehouse opens pre-orders for sale date of 21 September
We have a love-hate going on with Apple - we hate its launch events shrouded in as it turns out, completely ineffectual secrecy, but we love how fast it pushes out those iPhones.
The iPhone 5 is now on pre-order at Carphone Warehouse for its shelf date of 21 September. Tariffs start at £45 per month to get the 16GB version free, £61 per month for the 32GB version and £66 per month for the 64GB version.
However, only the 16GB black version is actually available to pre-order at the Carphone Warehouse site. The white version plus higher-storage models require a phone call. Hype, eh?
Carphone Warehouse will offer the iPhone 5 on all networks, though at the time of writing, it noted that Three is not yet offering the iPhone 5 - perhaps waiting till it can secure a 4G-friendly version?
