Windows Phone 8X by HTC breaks on Twitter

Phone formerly known as HTC Accord gets a new name too
It doesn't sit right to these ears, but according to a new leak by a tipster with a pretty strong record, the HTC Accord will launch as the Windows Phone 8X by HTC.
We did hear last week that '8X' would be involved when it came to new HTC phones, with other models called the '8V' and '8S' also likely to be launching at the upcoming HTC press event, which takes place on 19 September. But with leaks being so prolific right now, we wonder if anything will be left to launch in just over a week?
The Twitter account Football4PDA seems to be the biggest source of leaks right now, with that account posting up a spec sheet of the new Windows Phone 8 smartphone. That specification does sit well with previous speculation on the handset, under the previous Accord name.
The new breakdown claims the phone will come with a 4.3-inch touch display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and an eight-megapixel camera with f2.0 29mm lens, auto-focus, LED flash and 1080p video recording. The phone will also pack an NFC chip, Beats Audio, a separate networking camera, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. There should be a Micro USB port present too.
We can't swear that this is 100% correct, but the tipster does have a strong record when it comes to new phones, so we are presuming it isn't too wide of the mark. Confirmation one way or another in nine days.
