Phones 4u grabs exclusive on white HTC Desire X

Throws in a pair of Beats Audio headphones to sweeten the deal
We've already had the big reveal, with a hands-on also online after we got hold of the HTC Desire X at IFA. HTC promised it from the middle in September in black and white, but if you want the white version, there is only one place to go.
That place is Phones 4u, which has managed to secure an exclusive for the white version of the Desire X, offering it from mid-September for free on a £20.50 contract. But if you are willing to bump up the contract to £26 per month, Phones 4u has a free gift. A pair of those oh-so-trendy Beats Audio over-ear headphones, which usually retail for around £150.
That's not just a random giveaway, it's because the Desire X comes with Beats Audio. But unlike some previous models (and no doubt, to keep those costs down), HTC isn't shipping this new phone with a pair of the headphones.
As for the phone itself, you can find out all about that here, but to sum up, this one comes in just above the HTC Desire C in the HTC range, offering Ice Cream Sandwich for the OS (likely to get an upgrade to Jelly Bean sharpish), as well as an MSM8225 1GHz dual-core processor, a five-megapixel camera with BSI Sensor and LED flash, a four-inch WVGA S-LCD screen and 4GB of internal storage, plus a microSD card slot.
If you want to get up-close with the Desire X, don't forget to check out that hands-on, which also comes with plenty of shots of HTC's latest Android. If you want the headphones, get in quick, as it's a 'while stocks last' deal.
