ICS heads to Motorola RAZR and RAZR Maxx

Gradual rollout for European devices
Another Android update, this time the long-awaited upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich for the Motorola RAZR and RAZR Maxx.
Long awaited because this update went out in the US back in June, but nothing was subsequently mentioned for this side of the Atlantic. Until now, that is. No one quite knows why there was a delay, although there has been talk of an issue with one of the networks. All water under the bridge now though, as it's here.
Well, it is for 'select' devices. No one is quite sure what 'select' means, but it sounds like Motorola is gradually rolling out the update, just to make sure there are no problems with the new operating system.
The only thing to do is to keep checking for updates – you will get a notification of an update if it is ready to go for your handset. If it's not, the wait shouldn't be too long. Anyway, you've been waiting for months, a week or two longer isn't going to be an issue.
Obviously we're talking Ice Cream Sandwich, not Jelly Bean. Motorola has been very quiet about that, so you might want to savour this particular update. You could be in for a long wait before the next one.
