Good news and bad news. The good news is confirmation of an Android update for the HTC One X. The bad news? It isn't the Jelly Bean update we would've hoped for. That's perhaps no surprise. HTC is rumoured to be bringing out a sequel on the form of the HTC One X2 or X+ in the coming month, so if there is a Jelly Bean upgrade, it is likely to be held back for that.In the meantime, enjoy a better version of the OS you already have, with several improvements listed in Android version 4.0.4., as well as some enhancements to the Sense interface, all of which are rolling out now.The update will allow users to map menu functions to the 'recent app' key (improving visual presentation in non-ICS apps like Facebook), improve tab management in the browser with a dedicated tab switching button and enhance camera capabilities such as white balance and continuous auto-focus. There are also 'enhancements' to memory, platform stability and the overall browsing experience, along with the option of a single sign-on for Facebook and upgrades to Beats Audio. Not exactly life-changing, but certainly a step up. If you like the idea of that, just check for the upgrade now.
