Google adding voice options to iOS Search app

Takes on Siri on its own patch
As far as we know, it hasn't yet been give the all-clear from Apple, but it looks like when it does land voice searching will be added to the iOS Google Search app.
Yes, we know. Taking on Siri on an Apple device. Like Siri, you can ask your handset questions in a 'natural' way and get the answers via your phone. Only these answers come from Google's own database of knowledge.
If the end result is like the version currently in operation on Jelly Bean handsets, the answers include contextual awareness of where you are and what sort of thing you are searching for – and search answers. If you click on an answer, it will open the webpage in a Chrome-like new tab within the app itself. You can also demand actions. So 'show me the Ted movie trailer' should pull up YouTube in a tab and present that video.
Google claims this should be in the App store 'within the next couple of days' as it submitted the app to Apple a week or so ago.
