ZTE Grand X priced for the UK

We had a play with the £190 dual-core Android
We heard it was coming, but now the ZTE Grand X has finally been priced for the UK. You can bag this new dual-core Android on pay-as-you-go from both Phones 4u and Virgin Media from early August, for just £190. If you want a contract, that's from £24 per month with a 'free' phone or from £19 if you are already with Virgin.
The ZTE Grand packs an Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich. The interface appears to be standard Android 4.0 with custom icons, but little else in the way of tinkering from ZTE. A mottled plastic back keeps it firm in your grip, while the rounded body feels reassuringly solid.
A 4.3-inch qHD display looks reasonably crisp and colourful considering the price, and we had a play with one of the latest high-res action games which ran perfectly smooth - that'll be the dual-core Tegra 2 in action.
Rounding off the specs is a five-megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, plus a 0.3-megapixel front-facer for video calls. You also get 4GB of storage (bolstered by a microSD slot to boost storage further) plus Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and DLNA connectivity.
