HTC planning new tablet for the UK
But few details of upcoming device so far

HTC has confirmed a new tablet, but so far, that's pretty much all there is.

A HTC spokesperson confirmed to PC Advisor that a new tablet is under development, its first since the HTC Flyer (pictured here) on these shores, but as yet, details are not forthcoming, except that the tablet will offer something 'unique'.

We can assume that it will run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), which isn't actually a unique feature. Unless HTC is literally giving it away, price isn't going to be the big pull, nor is a stylus. So we'll just have to sit and wait for an announcement or more likely, a leak.

Saying all that, there has been a previously-leaked tablet called the Vertex, which has yet to launch. That was a 10.1-inch tablet with 1280x768-pixel resolution, along with 1GB of RAM, a quad-core Tegra 3 processor and 16GB of internal storage. No mention of the unique feature, but that could be the starting point.
