APP WATCH: StumbleUpon for Android
Find random, entertaining, informative sites based on what you're interested in

If you're already bouncing round the interwebs on random finds thanks to the StumbleUpon in your browser, you'll love that the self-confessed 'content discovery engine' is now on Android for the UK.

The app is basically its own browser where you input up to 50 interests when you sign in. StumbleUpon then pops up random sites that have something to do with your interests.

You can also sign in with Facebook or Google+ for the app to scan your Newsfeed and add that to its recommendation engine.

Android Ice Cream Sandwich devices – such as the Samsung Galaxy S III, HTC One series or Desire C – can also use the app with Android Beam to send cool links to another NFC-enabled phone, or pop a resizeable widget on the home screen to view content without having to launch the app.

StumbleUpon for Android is available free now from Google Play. You can also grab it for iPhones and iPads from the Apple App Store.
