Samsung Galaxy Note 2 could launch early

August IFA show launch indicated by source
It's building up to be one of the big launches of 2012 – and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 could be launching a little sooner than we anticipated.
That's according to the MK News, which is quoting that ever-reliable 'source familiar with the matter'. That source claims that 'Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 2 during the IFA 2012, a consumer electronics show held in Berlin, Germany in late-August'. That's ahead of the October date rumoured previously.
That same source added that 'the new model will definitely come with a 5.5-inch. display', but also said it was 'unclear as to what other features will be included', although Google's latest Android operating system, Jelly Bean, will almost certainly be present, as will a quad-core processor.
The much-rumoured 12-megapixel camera is still a possibility, but according to the report, the unbreakable plane (UBP) display technology, which we mentioned in an earlier report, isn't going to appear on this phone. It is likely to be on the next generation Note in 2013.
All will be revealed in a matter of weeks, although the phone isn't likely to be on the shelves until some weeks after that.
