APP WATCH: Flipboard rolls out to Android devices
Social magazine on Android 2.2 devices and up

It has long been a selling point for iOS devices and did appear as an exclusive for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S III. But now all Android owners can share the love of the Flipboard app.

If you've never used Flipboard, you are in for a treat. In short, it turns your newsfeeds and social networks into a magazine, with the option to 'flip' the pages like a book or magazine. It adds a new dimension to those Twitter updates, that's for sure.

The Android version is now out of beta and available in the UK, with integration offered for Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, LinkedIn, newsfeeds, even YouTube feeds and curated content, all combining to create your very own magazine for phone or tablet. It also offers sharing around your networks and a full-screen option if you want to get up close with the images.

Available now, the app is of course free from the Google Play website and for the UK, in a localised version content-wise.
