We got hands-on with the L Series not long ago, but a release date for the Optimus L5 has so far been withheld. Until now, that is. LG has now confirmed that the Optimus L5 will hit the UK this month, or at least, before July, which equates to much the same thing. The only downside is that we don't know the pricing as yet. The networks should provide that soon enough, but with the phone packing a Cortex A5 800MHz processor we suspect this is going to be a mid-range proposition, priced around the £20 per month mark. But the phone still has a number of selling points, especially if that price is right. We loved the look and feel of the phone during that hands-on, with the Optimus L5 also offering Ice Cream Sandwich for the Android OS, along with a four-inch HVGA touch-screen, NFC connectivity and a rear-facing five-megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash. There's also 4GB of internal storage and microSD support to boost it further. When we hear confirmation of those network prices, we'll let you know.
