Details of Motorola RAZR HD emerge

Said to be the follow-up to the well-received Motorola RAZR, the RAZR HD could be set for launch.

The phone, leaked under its US name of the Droid RAZR HD, has appeared in a rather blurred photo, but one that does offer a few initial details. It's certainly going to be tough, with kevlar literally covering the phone. It's also a little bit fatter than the original RAZR, which could indicate a more substantial battery.

As for the rest of the specification, that's starting to come together. An additional leak of a benchmark test points towards a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor and Ice Cream Sandwich for the Android OS. Rumours of a HD screen seem to ring true too, with a 1196x720-pixel resolution confirmed by the same tests. Previous leaks have also pointed at a 13-megapixel camera, which pretty much completes the picture.

With all that detail and a small picture of the phone itself, a launch could be around the corner. When it does launch, we will certainly pass on the confirmed details.
