Samsung Galaxy Beam could land this month

If the projector phone is something you really can't live without, you'll be pleased to know that the Samsung Galaxy Beam could be landing in the UK this month.

It has been pretty quiet on the Beam front since its initial launch back in March, with just a mention from one of the SIM-free sellers about a possible July shelf date. And as we know, those dates are always a bit hit and miss.

However, Carphone Warehouse has now published a date on its site, albeit a little vague. According to the site, 'June 2012' is the date of availability, which could be anytime between today and the end of the month. It's not perfect, but it's the best guide so far.

If you've forgotten about the Beam, it's a phone with one big selling point – it packs a projector capable of providing a 50-inch display. Aside from that, the phone itself looks, on the face of it, pretty average. It packs a dual-core 1GHz processor, four-inch WVGA screen, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 8GB internal memory, a five-megapixel camera, 2,000mAh battery and a microSD card slot.

More on the phone here, pricing still to be confirmed.
