HTC Desire C gets priced for UK

It got an official launch at the start of the week and now, just a few days later, we are getting the first price details of the HTC Desire C.

The budget Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone has been confirmed on both the Orange and T-Mobile networks. Different deals are available, depending on your needs, but if you want it on Orange, it will be available from early June for 'free' for £20.50 per month on a 24-month deal. If you want to go pay-as-you-go, the phone will be £169.99.

Alternatively, Orange's partner, T-Mobile, will do you a free phone from £15.50 per month on a 24-month deal from early June, with the pay-as-you-go price the same at £169.99. Cheaper on the contract, but check what you get at the respective sites.

As for the other networks, well details are still coming in. Three has confirmed it will be selling the phone, but has yet to give any firm details. Likewise, Vodafone will be selling, but details have yet to be confirmed. The Carphone Warehouse will also have it from June, as will SIM-free seller Clove, which is claiming to have stock from 24 May, priced at £189.99.

As for the phone itself, that's got a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, a 600MHz processor, HSDPA connectivity, 4GB of internal memory and a five-megapixel camera, with a colour choice of black or white. More on it here.
