Now the network operators are chiming in with when their pre-orders are going to be fulfilled - good news if you wanted to get the next big Android Ice Cream Sandwich superphone on contract rather than bought upfront.
Orange has confirmed that pre-orders are open now, but customers will have to collect on 30 May - and that's subject to availability. Pricing wise, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S III free on a £36, 24-month contract.
T-Mobile has only confirmed that pre-orders are open at its website.
Vodafone's preorder page is up too, and the network has an exclusive on the 32GB model, which can be had free for £41 a month.
