HTC has jumped on-board the bandwagon of confirming the Desire C, a budget smartphone that will be running Android Ice Cream Sandwich with Beats Audio sound.
After the internet grabbed hold of a leaked image, and Vodafone dropped some details in a pre-order page, HTC chimed with the full rundown of what we can expect from this entry-level newbie.
It'll be packing a 3.5-inch HVGA screen in a durable metal frame, along with display tech to maximise viewing angles. There's a five-megapixel camera as well – though details are thin from HTC on any extra-special features like the 'burst mode' and low light capabilities of its One series.
Like our very favourably reviewed One X, One S and One V however, the Desire C will come with 25GB of free Dropbox storage. And if you want to be all future-friendly, there'll be a variant packing an NFC chip so that you can eventually download a mobile wallet or use contactless payment apps.
The Desire C will be available in black or white in the UK.
