Fancy a new phone, but don't fancy shelling out a fortune? The Huawei Ascend Y100 and G7105 could be for you.
But you'll be sacrificing some cutting edge features as you cut the cost, that's for sure. Both phones are exclusive to O2, with the better model being the Y100.
That's the Android 2.3-packing phone, which offers up a 2.8-inch touch-screen, a two-megapixel camera (which also shoots video at 30fps) and HSDPA connectivity. Of course, you can also access Google Play for all of those lovely Android apps too.
That isn't the case with the G7105. That's a feature phone with a 2.8-inch LCD screen, a 1.3-megapixel camera, 4GB of on-board storage, Bluetooth and web browsing via Opera Mini. It also promises 600 hours of standby time and 300 minutes of talktime from a single charge. Ideal for a back-up phone, that's for sure.
The G7105 is the first to hit the market, available from 11 May for £40 in white from O2. The Ascend Y100 follows from 1 June for £80, or free if you sign a £10 per month contract.
