While we all wait for Samsung's latest iPhone-slayer with bated breath, more details are leaking out about the Galaxy S III. The information regarding the display seems to reinforce specs coming out of Holland a couple of weeks ago and it sounds a bit tasty.
A source in the supply chain has revealed that the Galaxy S III will ship with a 4.6-inch AMOLED HD+ screen when it's released in the next few months. They claims it will deliver a pixel density of 319 ppi, just a shade under the 330 ppi Retina display of the iPhone 4S. It's predicted that AMOLED displays will feature on many new handsets this year due to the technology's improved performance, most notably reduced power consumption, weight and thickness.
Putting together all the rest of the spec rumours we've heard, expect the Samsung Galaxy S III to come packing an Exynos quad-core chip, an improved camera, NTC and 4G.
