Samsung have announced the Ice Cream Sandwich update for its Galaxy Note smartphone will be available from Q2 of this year. Technically, Q2 begins in April so it might not be too far away but with Galaxy S II users getting the latest Android OS at the moment, there could be a few envious Note owners.
The good news is that the update will include the latest Premium Suite software, specially designed for use with the Galaxy Note. According to Samsung, the latest software sees 'extra multimedia features and a range of new S Pen optimised applications'.
One of the features is S Note, a tool that allows the combination of your own notes and sketches with other digital content. My Story, another of the updates, gives the user the ability to create personalised digital cards including video, photos, text or voice.
When ICS eventually arrives, Samsung promises 'an entirely new look and feel to Android on Galaxy Note'.
