HTC One X press shot appears online

I feel like we have all been on a journey with the HTC One X. We were first acquainted back in November, when the phone went by the name of the HTC Edge. Later, we found out more about it when it got a new name, that being the HTC Endeavor. Then, just last week, we heard the official name, that being the HTC One X. Now, after all these weeks, we get to see the phone in all its glory, courtesy of an official press shot.

Yes, the official render, complete with the start date of MWC and the event's location, Barcelona. Do you think HTC is trying to tell us something? The image doesn't really tell us a lot more, except that the phone keeps the physical keys underneath the screen, rather than going for the full touch-screen experience. Nice to finally see it 'in the flesh' though.

The specification has already been heavily rumoured. That should include the Ice Cream Sandwich variation of Android for the OS, along with a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 chip, 720p resolution display, eight-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel networking camera, Dropbox integration, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 and Beats Audio software. It's also likely to be one of the phones launching with the new version of HTC Sense, aka HTC Sense 4.0.

Not long to wait now before the big launch event and hopefully some details of when the handset will hit UK shelves.
