Nokia Lumia 910 spotted online

Remember we mentioned the possibility of the Nokia Lumia 910 last week? Well, an online retailer looks to have just confirmed its existence.

The smartphone was first leaked by Russian blogger and mobile insider Eldar Murtazin on Twitter, who laughed off suggestions that the Nokia Lumia 900 was coming to Europe, saying: 'Who needs lumia 900 in june [sic] if they want to launch lumia 910 (12mpx) in may? Europe'. That's all we had. Until now that is.

Now, Dutch retailer Typhone has gone public with a pre-order page for the Nokia Lumia 910, throwing in a basic specification too. The most important part of that is the camera, which, like the previous leak, pitches it as a 12-megapixel snapper rather than the eight-megapixel camera on the original Lumia 900. Everything else is as expected, with a 1.4GHz processor, Windows Phone 7.5 for the OS, 16GB of storage, HSDPA (21 Mbps) and a 4.3-inch screen.

Of course, you can interpret this two ways. Obviously you can take it as confirmation that an enhanced Lumia phone is incoming and launching soon – Nokia is holding an event at next month's MWC show in Barcelona. Or it could be a retailer jumping on a rumour, drumming up some traffic for its site in the process on the off chance of a launch. Obviously if it's the latter, the site in question does lose a lot of credibility, so we're leaning more towards the former.

Not long to wait to find out – the MWC event is just under a month away.
