Leaked photos show off Sony's latest budget Android phone, nicknamed the Sony Xperia Tapioca. Sony clearly has a thing for these random food-based pre-launch titles, as this follows close on the heels of the leaked Sony Xperia Kumquat.
The Xperia Tapioca features a dinky 3.2-inch HVGA screen, and has a stripped-down spec including a single-core 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM and a 3.2-megapixel camera. It will apparently ship with Android Gingerbread (2.3).
We'd expect this phone to be offered free on basic £10-£15 per month contracts. We'll let you know as soon as further details are released, and Sony comes up with a more delicious-sounding name.
