Prada Phone by LG 3.0 hits Phones 4u tomorrow

We heard it was coming to Phones 4u, but we didn't know when the Prada Phone by LG 3.0 would hit the UK market. The SIM-free stores were quoting 6 February as a release date, but as it turns out, the shelf date is even sooner than that.

In fact, you can get the Prada Phone by LG 3.0 from tomorrow (27 January) from Phones 4u. What's more, the retailer now has wider network availability than we first mentioned. Joining Orange and Vodafone is O2, with all three offering slightly different deals on the fashionista's phone. If you want the phone for 'free', the price will be £31 per month on Vodafone and O2, the former offering 900 minutes and 3,000 texts, the latter deal with 600 minutes and 3,000 texts. The Vodafone deal also offers 500MB of data. Other deals are available, so check the site for the full breakdown. Alternatively, you can opt for SIM-free for £429.99.

No matter which way you go, the features are exactly the same. Which means an Android smartphone (Gingerbread) with a slim profile, Prada's Saffiano-styled back, a 1GHz dual-core TI OMAP4430 processor, 4.3-inch, 800x480-pixel NOVA display, 8GB of internal storage, an eight-megapixel camera with flash and 1080p HD video capture, a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for your networking, along with HSPA+, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity.

No mention of all those stylish accessories, like the Prada docking station and Bluetooth headset and Prada bag – maybe you can enquire about those with the retailer. But check the bank balance first, as they are unlikely to be cheap.
