A new LG Android Honeycomb tablet, dubbed the LG Optimus Pad LTE, has been unveiled in South Korea. The 8.9-inch tablet packs in a Qualcomm dual-core 1.5GHz processor and features a sharp 1280x800 resolution, so should be a good travel companion for film fans.
Wannabe film directors might also be swayed by the eight-megapixel rear camera, which can capture HD video. Of course, shooting footage on a tablet is akin to brushing your teeth with a loafer. We'd rather just use our mobiles.
We're hoping LG has learned from its mistakes with the LG Optimus Pad, its first stab at an Android tablet, which was perfectly serviceable but over-priced and forgettable. Of course, there's no guarantee that the Optimus Pad LTE will even make it to British stores, despite LG suggesting it will be shipped to other countries.
