CES: HTC Titan II is 4G-friendly

HTC released the original gigantic Titan under a year ago, but it's already announced an upgrade – the beefier Titan II, also running on Windows Phone Mango.

Though it sports the same 4.7-inch screen and 1.5GHz single-core chip, the Titan II has a jawdropping 16-megapixel camera. Whether or not that's actually necessary is another question, but one we'll have to let our peeps across the pond ponder – the Titan II's other upgrade is its support for LTE next-gen mobile internet, currently unavailable in the UK.

Of course, HTC could announce the phone sans 4G at next month's Mobile World Congress –  where it's meant to be releasing the first quad-core phones – so perhaps we'll be seeing an over-megapixeled Titan II as well.
