While Nokia is capturing all the latest Windows Phone headlines, it looks like LG could be about to launch a new smartphone running the Microsoft OS.
Photos of the LG Fantasy have emerged on the XDA Developers Forum with the claim being that the device was sold on by a tester in Romania. The forum contributor claims the handset is running the latest 'Mango' version and features a four-inch display. However, a later image posted by WMPoweruser suggests the device will come with a 4.3-inch screen.
LG had mentioned a model called the Fantasy at the start of the summer, so it's plausible that the poster's claims of an early 2012 launch could hold water.
But with LG's recent unveiling of its Android-powered Prada 3 smartphone and Mobile World Congress coming up at the end of February, it's more likely that we'll see the phone announced then, and launched later in the year.
