You may remember this was outed earlier in the week, but was hastily taken down from the company's website. Not for long though, as the Orange San Francisco II has now officially launched and will be available in Orange stores later this month. As you might have guessed, it's a sequel to the highly-rated (at least for the money) original San Francisco, offering the same decent Android experience, but without the big cash outlay or long-term tie-in.The 3G+ Orange San Francisco II generally gives the features a bump, adding in some new ones too, including HD Voice for clear, crisp call quality, Signal Boost for enhanced indoor coverage and Orange Mobile Mail. The Android Gingerbread 2.3 operating system is here too. Well, you didn't expect Ice Cream Sandwich, did you?On top of that, there's an improved 800MHz processor, a five-megapixel camera, a 3.5-inch WVGA capacitive TFT touch screen, 512MB of internal memory, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, 512MB storage and a slimmer and more lightweight body. Orange apps, as you might expect, are also preloaded onto the handset, including Orange Wednesdays, Your Orange for checking your account and Orange Contacts Back-up.The San Francisco II will be available exclusively from Orange shops and Orange online from late November, selling for £99 on Orange pay-as-you-go with a £10 top-up and free on 24 month plans of £10.50 per month.
