We had details of the launch, but at the time, contract details for the Motorola RAZR were not available. Thankfully, they are now.In fact, the super-slim Android phone is available right now, both on contract and SIM-free, depending on where you buy it. Specifically, you can get the phone for 'free' from £31 per month with Phones 4u and Carphone Warehouse over a 24 month period, the network choice being Orange or Vodafone. In addition, Carphone Warehouse is offering the phone on pay-as-you-go, although there's no price for that as yet. However, if you want to go SIM-free, Amazon will sort you out on that front, as long as you are willing to pay £448.99 for the privilege. Clove is also doing it SIM-free for a little more money. No matter what you pay, you'll get the same handset, one that's described as 'impossibly thin' by Motorola, but very durable, thanks to a precision machined stainless steel core, woven kevlar fibre on the back, a Gorilla Glass screen and Motorola splash-guard with nanotechnology coating, the latter keeping it safe down the pub.Inside, there's a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced qHD touch-screen, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, an eight-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing HD webcam for video calls and right now, Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread). No word on an Ice Cream Sandwich as yet. If you're still undecided about the RAZR, check out our hands-on. Otherwise, you know where to go for one.
