We did briefly mention this in September when the Sony Ericsson Nozomi was pure speculation. But now images have appeared of the powerful smartphone, along with some confirmation of those initial specifications.According to Phone Arena, the images show both the smartphone and some details of what the phone offers, including a 4.3-inch 720x1280 screen. There's also said to be a 12-megapixel Exmor R camera on the back, which takes pictures in the regular 4:3 ratio at 12-megapixel, while at a 16:9 aspect ratio, takes snaps using a nine-megapixel setting. Other specs heavily-rumoured include a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM is on board and 32GB of native storage. Sadly, one of the screenshots made available shows the phone running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, although that is expected to be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich by the time the Nozomi launches. It might not be the only thing changing – the name could change too. A similar phone, going by the name of the Sony Ericsson Arc HD, is also rumoured. Which could in fact be the same smartphone. We'll probably only know the final name at launch. No word of that launch yet, but it can'be be far off. As ever, we'll keep you informed.
