After last week's BlackBerry disappointments, we have a ray of sunshine this week - Spotify has finally made its way to BlackBerry smartphones. The preview version means, in essence, not the finished product, so expect the odd bug while you do preview it. You will also need to be paying for a Premium subscription to use it too, which is £9.99. Oh yes, you'll need to get the app via Spotify rather than BlackBerry App World too, seeing as it's only a preview product.Once you've got it, features look to be on a par with the other apps on the market, which means online and offline playback (once you've sorted out music for offline use), synching of playlists, highlighting your favourite tunes, as well as searching via songs, artists and albums. There is a catch though. Only certain BlackBerry handsets have been tested with the music streaming app. Those are the BlackBerry Bold 9780, Bold 9700, Curve 9300, Bold 9000 and Curve 8520, but not the BlackBerry Torch 9800. It is said to be working with the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 handset though. No mention of the PlayBook, so we'll take that as a 'no'.If you have the right hardware, you can get the app here.
