Acer C6 Liquid Express heads to Orange

Not just another leak, the Orange network has listed details of the Acer C6 Liquid Express online, despite no official launch as yet for the handset. Which obviously means we can see what it looks like and what it does.

What it looks like is a fairly average, modern-day touchscreen smartphone. As for what it does, well, according to Unwired View, it's an Android 2.3 smartphone with a 3.5 inch HVGA display, along with Wi-Fi, HSDPA, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack, 5-megapixel camera and an 800MHz Qualcomm MSM Turbo processor. I think that pretty much sums up a mid-range Android smartphone in 2011. The whole thing measures 13.4mm in thickness, weighing around 135g.

As for price details, they're not yet available on the 'coming soon' page on the Orange UK website. But it's likely to be offered for free by the network on £20+ contracts. Full details should be available in the coming weeks, but if you can't wait, give Orange a call.
