It's likely to appear with much fanfare later today, but the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 will have lost some of its edge after the device appeared online early.Pocket-lint has both the official publicity shots and details of the latest Samsung Android tablet, showing a tablet with a slightly different look to previous Tabs, but not massively if we're being honest. The brushed metal back is perhaps the standout feature. It does, however, have more to offer under the bonnet. The latest Tab features a Super AMOLED screen, as well as a 1.4GHz processor, with Android 3.2 and Samsung's own TouchWiz tablet interface sorting out the action on-screen. You'll also find a 5100mA battery for longer life (especially when watching video), 1080p video playback, a three-megapixel rear camera, a two-megapixel front-facing camera and a choice of an 8, 16, 32 or 64GB model for the storage. If that's not enough, there's an SD card slot too.No word on a shelf date or network action as yet, we'll keep you posted as and when that information becomes available.
