It's a big selling phone already, with over three million people picking up the Samsung Galaxy S II so far. Not enough for Samsung though, so taking a page out of the Apple book, the company has issued the Samsung Galaxy S II in white. The handset was first leaked a few weeks ago but has now gone official, with a shelf date of 1 September. Three has already come forward with availability, selling the handset for £499 if you want it on a pay-as-you-go deal or from around £30 if you want a monthly deal. Get in touch with them if that appeals. No mention of 'exclusive' though, so you might want to hold fire until the other networks get their deals on the table. Although we don't expect any to vary much from the standard S II price. It got a five-star review off us, with only slight reservations about battery life. No surprise there though, with the slimline Android 2.3 smartphone packing a 4.27-inch 800x480 Super AMOLED Plus display, an eight-megapixel camera, two-megapixel video calling camera and a dual-core 1GHz Samsung chip with 1GB of RAM, it's sure to impact on your power levels. Not to the point of it being a major issue though, it's just the nature of the modern day smartphone.
