OK, we're sorry to keep going on about this if you happen to be sat on the waiting list for Google+, but if it's any consolation, you are certainly not alone. Anyway, if Google+ is like any other Google beta project, that authorisation will be through soon enough and when it is, you'll need the app for your smartphone.Yesterday, we featured Google+ for Android, which was always going to be the first platform to get it. But it looks like Apple isn't going to be far behind. According to Pocket-lint, Google employee Erica Joy announced yesterday that the iOS app is with Apple already: 'For my iPhone using friends: the Google+ iPhone app has been submitted to the App store (no not today, sometime prior to today) and is awaiting approval.'From that we can assume if there are no obvious issues that the app will be here in days. In the next couple of weeks for sure. There could be problems with the app uploading photos in the background, which is new ground for an app. If there is, the delay might be a little longer to account for a bit of tweaking. If not, it should work pretty much like the Android app, allowing you to network with friends in groups, chat via your handset and upload media to the 'cloud', which can be accessed by anyone you give permission to. In the meantime, here's hoping your account gets authorised.
