We mentioned earlier in the month that the ViewSonic ViewPad 7x was due to launch, but it has also been joined at launch by a bigger brother, the ViewPad 10 Pro.Nothing much has changed with the ViewPad 7x since that first glimpse, which means a seven-inch Honeycomb tablet complete with Nvidia dual-core Tegra 2 processor, that seven-inch multi-touch screen (as you might have guessed), front and back cameras, HDMI port, DLNA and SRW TruMedia, along with HSPA+. No pricing as yet, but the 7x is still scheduled for the summer in the UK.According to Pocket Lint, the ViewPad 10 Pro has a couple of interesting tricks up its sleeve. It is the world’s first dual-OS tablet, offering access to both Windows 7 Professional and Android. It's also one of the first tablets to use the latest Intel Oak Trail processor. In real terms, that all means power-saving processing and the ability to switch between Android and Windows without turning off your tablet. Clever stuff.Details of that tablet still seem a little vague, which leads us to think it will be some time behind the ViewPad 7x in terms of shelf date. We'll keep you posted as soon as we hear more.
