Toshiba Regza Tablet AT300 confirmed
Android 3.0 device hits the shelves in June

It's actually had a couple of unveilings already, but until now, some details relating to the Toshiba Android tablet were missing, not least the name. Not anymore. We can now present the Toshiba Regza Tablet AT300, and according to Pocket Lint, it starts shipping in June.

We already knew that the tablet would be packing Android 3.0 (Honeycomb), but the rest of the specification has now been released, offering something that is competitive without really being a standout product. Although we'll reserve complete judgement until we get a hands-on with the device – the only way to sort out the good from the average.

According to Toshiba, the AT300 will pack a 10.1-inch screen with the 'Resolution+' bright light reflecting contrast feature, as well as a 1280x800 resolution. There's also a 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a five-megapixel camera at the rear and a two-megapixel camera for video networking, along with HDMI, SD, miniUSB, USB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Battery life is said to be around seven hours.

That June shelf date was for its native Japan, no word on it heading to the UK as yet or indeed, a price. It is almost certain to be hitting the UK though, and if you want a rough price guide, $700 is being touted for outside the UK.
