No doubt what has been the biggest handset launch of the week – the HTC Sensation. If you want to get up-close with it, check out our hands-on report or see some video of the Android smartphone in action. At the launch, it was noted that the the HTC Sensation would be available on Vodafone UK from the middle of May, with a presumption that it was an exclusive deal. It is - but only for a limited time.Around a month, if the other networks are to be believed. O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Three have all announced future availability for the handset, some as soon as June. O2 has confirmed availability, but without giving a specific date for it, Orange and T-Mobile confirmed to Pocket Lint that they would be selling the handset from June, again with no pricing and the Three network is promising the phone over 'summer'. Vague, but it is another confirmation and making it more or less a full house. So if Vodafone wants to make the most of its exclusive, it needs to get cracking on the hard sell and get some potential customers signed up. Unfortunately, despite having a holding page with all the details of the phone online, the company has yet to confirm its contract details, although you can sign up to register for updates as and when they come in.That's likely about the deals, as we know pretty much everything about the HTC Sensation after the big midweek launch. For your money, you'll get what's described as a 'multimedia smartphone' with aluminium unibody, dual-core, 1.2GHz processor, 4.3-inch touch-screen with 16:9 wide-screen aspect ratio, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, an eight-megapixel camera, 1080p video recording and the HTC Sense 3.0 interface. Find out much more in that hands-on if you are considering signing up for one.
