Customers on Three can get their hands on Sony Ericsson's certified PlayStation phone from today. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, which has a slide-out gaming controller with access to an array of Xperia Play optimised games (including original Sony PlayStation titles), will be available to customers with all-you-can-eat data on both Three's The One Plan or on prepay.
On prepay the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is available for £499, while a choice of bolt-ons will enable you to get more from the Android Gingerbread handset as well as more game time. For example, All in One 15 will set you back £15 but will provide 30-days access to all-you-can-eat data along with 300 any network minutes and up to 3,000 texts. The All in One 25 costs £25 for the same 30-day period, but offers 500 minutes and 3,000 texts.
Contract customers can get their hands on the phone for an upfront cost of £99 on a £35 per month contract or for £49 on a £40 per month contract both on The One Plan with All-You-Can-Eat data, 2,000 any time, any network minutes and up to 5,000 texts.
Three's move means it's just O2 who is yet to begin selling the device after they delayed the initial launch due to software concerns.
