Group video chats are coming to your mobile phone, with Fring offering you the chance to get in on the ground floor.According to the company's blog, the development team are putting the finishing touches to 'a super cool new service' that offers free mobile Group Video Calls for both the Android platform and the iPhone. Essentially, it allows four friends to video call each other simultaneously, for what Fring calls 'a mobile video calling party of sorts'. As opposed to a video conference call out of work hours, which it is probably nearer to.Downside? It's not available generally as yet, but you can still sign up for it. Fring is running a private beta for the service, with a 'limited number' of users being asked to do some 'real world' testing and feedback. If that appeals, head to the Fring blog to sign up and also, to check out a video of the calling app in action. The rest is us will have to wait, which shouldn't be too long if the initial software proves fairly bug-free.
