Vodafone offers HTC Desire S on pre-order

The network did say some time back it was selling it, but now Vodafone has released pricing details of the HTC Desire S.

According to TechRadar, it arrives in the UK on April 8th, available on the company's £30, two-year plan which includes 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of mobile data.

For that, you get a phone offering the HTC Sense interface and an aluminium body, not to mention Qualcomm’s new 1GHz Snapdragon MSM8255 processor, dual front and back cameras (5-megapixel for the former), high-definition video recording and a 3.7-inch WVGA display. Android Gingerbread should be on-board at launch.

Not content with tempting us with the Desire S, Vodafone has also announced that it will be offering the Samsung-built Google Nexus S in either its original black case or an exclusive white version. That will be available for free on a £35 a month, two-year plan with 900 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of mobile data.

The network has also announced that it will also be selling the HTC Wildfire S in three different colours, including exclusive grey and purple versions. No date or price for this as yet, but it's likely to be more of a budget offering than the previously-mentioned smartphones.
