HTC Evo 3D heading to Europe

We haven't even touched on the HTC Evo 3D previously. Why? Well, it didn't look like there was much chance of it being on the shelves of UK retailers, so it seemed pretty irrelevant. But now we hear it just might be heading here after all. So we are interested.

According to TechRadar, the official French HTC twitter feed has confirmed that the handset is coming to Europe. Definitely to France, so there's really no reason why it wouldn't be making the hop across the Channel too. Anyway, that tweet read: 'Un #HTC Evo 3D pour la France ça vous dit ? Nous oui ! Et même qu'il garde le même nom ;) Date de dispo non confirmée.'

If your French isn't quite up to it, that's roughly translated to: 'An HTC Evo 3D anyone? Yes we are! And it even keeps the same name ;) Date of availability is not confirmed.'

The Evo 3D, if it does land over here, will offer up a smartphone with a 1.2GHz dual core processor and 3D video recording capability, not to mention the HTC Sense UI and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It's a powerful beast, that's for sure, with its autostereoscopic screen for 3D viewing certain to pull many in when it does land. Here's hoping that is sooner rather than later. As soon as the official word for the UK breaks, we'll let you know.
