HTC Desire S, Wildfire S and ChaCha head to Three

Three is now advertising the availability of three hot new HTC handsets, those being the HTC Desire S, Wildfire S and ChaCha. Sadly, it's not confirmed the specific details of pricing as yet, although it's pretty much a certainty that you'll get more data from Three than anywhere else. That's their big selling point these days.

According to Crave, Three has announced that it will start selling the Desire S in April, the Wildfire S in May and the ChaCha in June. If you want to get your name down for one (presumably without any kind of commitment as yet), you can do that at the Three website. You'll then be sent the tariffs when confirmed.

Three isn't the first company to confirm stock of the phones. Vodafone T-Mobile and Orange have also confirmed they will stock the handsets, but with little in terms of dates. The nearest we got previously was the 'second quarter of this year' from Orange and T-Mobile. Also, no mention of the Salsa anywhere as yet, wonder if that's been dropped from the UK schedules or was just launched way ahead of its shelf date? Only time will tell.

Anyway, when the three phones above do land, they will all be showing off the Android 2.4 version of Gingerbread, with the Wildfire S offering a 3.2-inch screen, 5-megapixel camera and 600MHz processor, the Desire S coming with a 3.7-inch screen, 1GHz processor and similar camera, while the Facebook-friendly ChaCha has a Qwerty keyboard, dedicated Facebook button, 2.6-inch screen and 600MHz processor.

When we hear contract prices, you'll be the first to know.
