The original HTC Wildfire has done very good business for the company since its launch in the middle of last year. Indeed, the mini Android got a great review off us, despite one or two reservations. So a new Wildfire 2 would make a lot of sense commercially. It could be coming very soon, if video evidence holds true. HTC's video promotion team uploaded a recent effort to YouTube, nothing strange in that. But, according to Engadget, the video stream kicks off someone handling a water-washed rock on a beach, which then transforms just moments later into a so-far unseen HTC device.General speculation claims this is a second-generation HTC Wildfire device. It is incredibly similar to the original Wildfire, just lacking the optical pad. As you might have guessed, no other details are forthcoming on the phone as yet, but with the MWC event just around the corner, it's a good bet that the Wildfire 2 (if it is that) will be launched then, alongside a clutch of other HTC devices, possibly including the Desire 2.For mobile phone lovers and those looking to upgrade, it could be an exciting week.
