We reviewed this back in August 2010 so not exactly the must up-to-date handset on the market, but on the plus side, the BlackBerry Curve 3G isn't the most expensive BlackBerry either. Indeed, if you love the colour pink, or know someone who does, it just might be a bargain.Back then, we found it to be a fairly average BlackBerry - if you love the classic QWERTY-clad smartphone, it's likely to be right up your street. But we weren't blown away by it. Since then, BlackBerry has introduced OS 6, which has dated it further. But on the plus side, it offers the Blackberry mail and messaging experience, along with a 320x240 TFT LCD screen, that QWERTY keyboard with backlighting, 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity plus a rather basic 2-megapixel camera. Well, you can't have everything.Of course, that 'Fuchsia Pink' finish narrows the market a bit from the black, but with a shelf date of 8th February, it could be perfect as a last-minute Valentine's Day gift for the email lover in your life. You can get one for free at the Carphone Warehouse for a fairly mdest £20 per month contract or go pay as you go at £199.95. Chocolates, flowers and card are extra.
