We thought we'd seen the last of the BlackBerry leaks for this year. But no, they keep coming, with the latest being a device going by the name of the BlackBerry Curve Touch.CrackBerry has got hold of a document labelled 'strictly confidential', so it must have some weight to it. Within that document, which also confirms previous leaks, is an additional device destined for Fall 2011, which is late 2011 essentially. It's another touchscreen device, offering up a 3.25-inch touchscreen handset, along with a Qualcomm MSM 8655 800MHz processor, a trackpad, 1GB of flash storage, 512MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera with HD video recording. and what's likely to be the big thing of 2011 (at least the first part), NFC connectivity for contactless purchasing. There's also BlackBerry OS 6.1, which apparently features 'liquid graphics' and an improved user experience, as well as better compatibility with enhanced chips. The UK launch is likely to be roughly the same as the US, so look out for this to amuse you when summer finally comes to end. It's going to be busy year for RIM, that's for sure.
