LG Optimus Me P350 gets Facebook debut

It's not the obvious place to unveil a handset, but LG has chosen to use its Facebook page to highlight the forthcoming LG Optimus Me P350.

It's a mid-range Android smartphone that's likely to be unveiled in the flesh at the forthcoming MWC event. If the specification from Fone Arena is correct, it's unlikely to be the most talked-about handset on show though.

According to that site, which is linked from the LG page (albeit unofficially), the phone has Android 2.2 as its operating system, with a specification headed up by a 3-megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, and a 320x480 display. So not a groundbreaking phone, more likely one for the teenage market, with all those colours no doubt being a selling point to the fashion market.

Look out for more on this 'compact, glossy, colorful, powerful and reasonable' handset (LG's words) when the MWC roadshow kicks off in a few weeks.
