Firefox 4 Beta 3 launches for Android and Maemo

If you happen to have an Android or Maeomo device, you might want to take a closer look at the newly-launched Firefox 4 Beta 3. Or indeed, download it for your smartphone.

Mozilla has made the latest beta available to owners of those devices and according to TechRadar, it improves the mobile search features, as well as adding some cosmetic and functional improvements. Those include  improved support for Android keyboards, new menus, better file uploading, a Save as PDF command, Firefox sync and a more simplified user interface.

If you are viewing videos, there's also now a full screen option, improved audio performance, the option to copy and paste in the URL bar and the ability to browse recommended add-ons through the add-on manager.

It's available now for all Android smartphones, as well as Nokia N900 devices.
